This winter a configuration change allowed us to make visible highly reflective layers which provide the opportunity for mining applications. This modification has also resulted in the first identification of shallow caves revealed by a unique signature. The first cave contains aragonite and removal of the overburden will continue until the cave at 80 feet is exposed, which hopefully will contain crystals. Research will continue locally and projects in other areas are welcome.

Garland County Cave (Aragonite at 50 feet, and hopefully crystals at 80 feet)
The presence of coal is indicated by an absorption of the signal. On the raw data graph this is illustrate by a steep decline of the signal level and an abundance of noise. This feature was observed for a second time in Cherokee County, coal gas was observed between 1600 and 1850 feet.
